BUSINESS STRATEGY OF ZARA HOME

Who would have told us that people would buy and replace sheets, glassware and tableware according to fashion?

Last week we are talked about Inditex group, we want to explain a strategy related with Zara (the most famous Brand) where you can find trend clothing, for women, men and children, with a competitive prices.

In Zara you couldn’t find products for home and Inditex decided to make Zara Home, where you can find a lot of home products.

The creation of Zara Home, was born when Inditex group opted for the extension of their business was a completely different product focused on collections for home according to fashion.

Zara Home offers design, quality and innovation for the home at competitive prices.

Zara Home is located in many countries such as; Italy, Belgium, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Andorra, Cyprus and many more.

Zara home works to give at their consumers all that they want. Their products have a medium price, for this reason, they don’t need to advertise their goods.

We would like to remark that Zara Home also offers an online shop. The customers who prefers make their purchase on the online way, they can take a look to catalog of Zara Home.

From our point of view, the creating of these new shops is a good idea to get different market segments.

Do you think that this strategy will be beneficial for Inditex group? Or, you believe that the others shops related with the clothes like Pull & Bear and Bershka can get more benefits?

Don’t forget you to put your comment about this post, it’s very important to us know your opinion.

  2. Well, in my opinion I think that this is a good strategy for Inditex because it's a way to innovate a product which the coustumers want or need. But it's true that the others shops like Pull & Bear or Bershka can get benefits, but I believe that never will be more than Inditex may have with Zara.

  4. Good Morning Ms.Laia Servet,

We are very grateful for your opinion. We are agree about your thinking.

On the other hand, comparing with the last post, we are fully agree that OYSHO use a tactic to increase their number of consumers but, ZARA HOME is a big strategy that Inditex group have been used to maximize their benefits.

We say that because this strategy is an action a long term and its impacts can be positive or negative for all the firm.

  5. Zara was an innovation in the apparel industry in the mid-1970s, whereby the latest fashions could find their way to customer's homes within 2-3 weeks, compared to an industry average of 6 months. This embodied the concept of "fast fashion".

I am less convinced of the necessity for "fast home furnishings".

By a vertical integration of their supply chain they are now capable of delivering the latest fashions to consumer's homes within 2-3 weeks, compared to an industry average of 6 months. I am less convinced of the necessity for "fast home furnishings".
